It is the most popular city of the island, with numerous hotels, shops and restaurants. The most well known bars are the Rock Cafè, a great place where to listen to live music, and the Waikiki, a bar on the beach where to eat delicious fish and drink a good sangria just by the sea!!! The Corralejo dunes are famous for their desert sand. The seafront walking is wonderful, as well as the typical small shops full of lots of articles; cheap restaurants offer really fresh fish with the popular papas arrugadas, and the sauces called mojo: yummy!
