In the 60s a hippie community settled in Formentera. The island still preserves their tracks and memories. The proof is the hippie market that takes place at La Mola, the highest part of this island. From June to October, on Wednesdays and Sundays, the market opens at 4pm and closes late in the evening.

Here you can find the best of local handicraft, highly influenced by the hippie culture; small and big fashion jewelry; typical, heavy, handmade and raw-wool sweaters; natural materials like wood and stone used for different jewels.
