Music lovers will not be disappointed with Paris’ event offerings.  June 18th to June 26th at the Opera Bastille, the Paris Opera will deliver a four part performance of the Ring cycle for the first time in 60 years.  From June 8th to July 28th, be sure to catch The Paris Jazz Festival, a music tribute to American Jazz.  This year the festival will include a botanical exhibition, and its performers include Daniel Mumair Quartet, Hadouk Trio, and Eric Seva Sextet.

There are so many events for fashion lovers in Paris!  See the European Dress in Detail - 1700-1915 - Exhibit, which has been presented at LACMA in California and the Deutches Historisches Museum in Berlin, and will be featured at the Les Arts Decoratifs in Paris through April 24th.  If you’re fashion conscious, don’t miss it!  Through July 14th, you can catch The Art of Hair – frivolities and trophies - at the Musee du Quai Branly.  This exhibit examines the unique theme of hair through paintings, sculptures, photographs and trophies, and takes an in-depth look the power of hair in different societies.  Looking for more modern fashion?  Try the Paris Hotel de Ville’s haute couture exhibit, featuring Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, and more!
