Fatih in Istanbul
Fatih is located in the district of Istanbul, Turkey. It is an ancient Constantinople. Places like Golden Hom and Sea of Marmara is situated on the north and south side at the borders of Fatih. The Mayor for Fatih is Mustafa Demir. The name Fatih got its origin from the Ottoman emperor Fatih Sultan Mehmed and it means Conqueror in Arabic language. At present, Fatih contains areas including Aksaray, Findikzade, Çapa, and Vatan Caddesi that are more cosmopolitan than the extreme conservative image which the district has in the eyes of many people because of the religious community.
