The Scone Palace is a historic monument built by William Atkinson in 1808. The palace is built of red sandstone and is a classic example of the Georgian Gothic style. The palace at present has a fine collection of ceramics, clocks, ivories and furniture. The garden is open for public viewing and has a replica of the stone of Scone on the Moot Hill, a modern day maze, 250 years old oak trees and a number of peacocks.
