It is a very beautiful free-standing, rectangular building which is build by stones. It is the Gower Peninsula’s finest castle, standing on a small hill. It was found by William De Londres in the 12th century. This castle later became the chief residence of the Lords Gower.
It includes a great big hall on the first floor. The southern part of the castle is an open court yard, with rectangular buildings against the curtain walls on either sides of the entrance.
