The Bank of England Museum is situated to the east side of the Bank of England, London in BartholomewLane. This museum covers 10,000 square feet of space and includes a reconstruction of a late 18th century office, called as the ‘StockOffice’. The displays at this office include the history of the bank in chronological order along with images of the rebuilding of the bank in the inter war years. The museum houses displays of bank collections like bank notes, books, coins, pictures, documents, silver, furniture and statues. There is also real gold bars on display here. This amazing museum is open to the public, on weekdays free of charge and even on the Lord Mayor’s Show day.
