Compton Verney is a manor house designed by Robert Adam and landscaped by Capability Brown. This manor house was built in 1760 and was in a state of decay in 1993 when it was renovated by the Compton Verney House Trust to convert it into an art gallery of international standard. The house is set among 120 acres of classic parkland and is open for public viewing since March 2004.
