Cavern Club in Liverpool
The Cavern Club is definitely Liverpool’s most famous club.
It was opened by Alan Sytner in 1957. In the early sixties it hosted the first live appearances of the Beatles, and it was here that Brian Epstein saw them play for the first time.
Over the years artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Elton John and many more have played here.
Today the Cavern Club is renowned for hosting the best live gigs in all Liverpool.
Every night there are rock, jazz and pop gigs.
Don’t miss the Fab Four nights, dedicated to cover bands and Tribute Shows, such as the one they held celebrating the birth of John Lennon.
