Calderstones Park is one of the most important and popular public parks in Liverpool. It’s located on the street of the same name, and it’s open to the public all year round.
Most of the park goers are families, there are several interesting sights and monuments, a botanical garden and a children’s area.
Originally belonging to a private manor house, it changed hands several times, until the City Council of Liverpool purchased it in 1902 for £43,000 and made it a public park just three years later.
