New York - Hester Street Fair In New York City
New York City has its fair share of market options for the tragically hip, and this is one of them.
Located on the corner of Hester and Essex Streets in a postcard-perfect park setting, the Hester Street Fair is for those who shop with their stomach.
Founded by former MTV News Host SuChin Pak, the flea market is a hub for local restaurants that want to showcase their very best, and for hungry visitors who want to satisfy their taste buds.
The market’s vendors provide everything from quality goods and the best food bazaar on the Lower East Side. Shoppers can check out some hip and fancy finds from vendors such as Fancy Sexy Me, Tales from the Terrarium, On The Fringe and Rugs Below. Visitors can also check out Dealer’s Choice for vintage jewelry and the I Love You Project for custom-make t-shirts.
The Hester Street Fair is open to the general public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
