The Denver International Airport is situated in north east of Denver in Colorado and is the largest and the busiest airport in the United States with a total area of 52 square miles and passenger traffic of around 50 million people.

The airport has won several awards as it was voted in 2005 as the Best Airport in N. America and the best run airport in America in 2002 by the Time Magazine.

The various airlines operating from here include United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Continental Airlines, Frontier Airlines, British Airways, Air Canada, Lufthansa and more.

The airport has all modern amenities such as Guest Service booths, Lost and Found, telephones, internet access, baggage carts, lockers and storage areas, ATM services, Islamic Prayer Hall and Chapel, Smoking Lounge, Post Office, Pet exercise area and a number of shops and restaurants.
