Tourists can enjoy various Asian festivals and events celebrated in this area, throughout the year. Dunsmuir House is a fine example of magnificent Neoclassical- Revival architecture dating back from 1899. Oakland Museum is a collection of Oakland's history, natural science and art. It is located in 10th Street in the downtown area. Founded in 1878, the Oakland Public Library is the best source of information about Oakland and the rest of the world.
