Overall Guide : Experience the adventurous lifestyle of cowboys at Hart Ranch and its surroundings. The house showcases fascinating cowboy memorabilia. Scenic wagon tours and delicious Dutch oven dinner are also on offer. Bannock County Historical Museum transports the visitor to the 19th century... more era with its rich display of historical artifacts. Fort Hall is the replica of the original where many great adventurers visited during their exploration of the land. Ross Park Aquatic Center has water slides and public pools. It also offers pools with zero depths for children. Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Museum displays migration and settlement of the Shoshone-Bannock people through displays, exhibits and old photos. Idaho Museum of Natural History showcases a collection in vertebrate paleontology, anthropology, earth science and life science. It also preserves documents and photographs. Apart from special and permanent exhibits, it conducts classes for families and children. The specialty of the Pocatello Zoo is the habitation of native wildlife.

Overall Guide : A city building to cater to college kids - cheap studio apartments, lots of cheap entertainment, lots of parks, mountain trails, etc. Many parks for a small town. Large city nearby. People here that enjoy the great outdoors never run... more out of places to go and sites to see. There are bicycle lanes on many of the roads and the people yield to bicyclists. This is the most road courteous town I've ever lived in. The economy is so much better than Louisiana's, that I've decided to stay here! Love, love Pocatello.
Not to be missed Old Town , Museum of Clean , Fort Hall Replica

Overall Guide : its ok. Nice mountains surround the city. ISU is in the city but its not much of a College town. Its only like three hours away from Yellowstone and even shorter to Island Park. Also Salt Lake City isn't all... more that far away. Poky lacks things to do in the winter, but in the summer its great
Not to be missed City Creek Trails , Downtown Poky , Idaho State University
