Drayton hall is one of the most perfect examples of Palladian architecture located near Charleston, South Carolina in North America. The house was built for John Drayton. The construction of this site began in 1738 and completed in 1742 using both free and slave labor.It is a seven-bay double pile plantation house which stands on a 630-acre site which is a part of the plantation based on indigo and rice.
