Description

Fendall Hall is considered as one of the outstanding Italianate houses in Alabama. It consist of elaborate and some rare interior decorative paintings which dates back to the 1880s. The hall got completed in 1860 by Anna and Edward Young. It was home to five generations of the Young family. In 1973, it was purchased as a house museum by the Alabama Historical Commission and was open to the public.
