The Scottish Rite Cathedral is one of the largest historic Masonic buildings located in downtown Indianapolis. The Scottish Rite cathedral was built in between 1927 and 1929.
The features of Scottish Rite Cathedral is the Neo- Gothic architecture, 54 bell carillon, ceilings, ornate carved woodwork, artistic stained-glass windows and the large pipe organ. The cathedral auditorium contains 1200 seats. The Chandelier has 200 lights and weighs 2500 pounds.
