The Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church and Parsonage in Montgomery is the church where Dr Martin Luther who was the King Jr, pastured from 1954 to 1960. He began his quest for civil rights. In this NationalHistoric Landmark, one can see the modest pulpit wherein the pastor preaches his message of hope and brotherhood to all. This church also depicts King’s civil rights crusade from Montgomery to Memphis.
