Salt Lake Temple is the worldwide icon of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is at the heart of the Temple Square. This is the largest temple of the Church. It covers over 10 acres of land.
The temple took 40 years to build with its highly ornate interior being completed in just a year. The Salt Lake Temple was the only temple dedicated by President Wilford Woodruff.There is no public tour inside the temple.
