It is a revolutionary war monument and graveyard for the martyrs; it is located in the town of Wyoming in the Luzerne County. The monument is the gravesite for the bones of the victims of Wyoming massacre, which happened on the 3rd July of 1778. In the year 1833 the bones of the victims were collected and stored in the vault below the monument. The ownership of the Wyoming monument belongs to the Wyoming monument association.
