Located at 6060 Wilshire Boulevard, the Petersen Automotive Museum chronicles the rise of the automobile in America through a series of impressive exhibits and exotic vehicles from history. Covering over 300,000 square feet, the museum features more than 150 rare and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. The second floor is particularly remarkable, with a series of five rotating galleries of racecars, vintage motorcycles, concept cars, movie cars and auto technology. There is also an interactive section of museum designed to inspire and educated visitors about fundamental functions of automobiles through hands-on learning activities.
