Strategic Air and Space Museum in Omaha
The Strategic Air and Space Museum is a museum located near Ashland alongside Omaha, Nebraska. It is a museum that mainly focuses on the aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States. The main objective of this museum is to display and preserve the historic aircraft, apace shuttles, missiles and to provide education. It has the top collection of strategic aircraft. This museum is situated near many other tourist attractions that include the Mahoney State Park, the Platte River State park and the Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari. There are several golf courses around. This museum is a nonprofit organization and does not receive any direct government funding and solely relies on the generosity of the individuals and the corporations. There are many exhibits in this museum which are worth watching like The Heartland Astronaut, 9th Air Force, Linebacker II, Doolittle’s Tokyo Raiders, Martin Bomber Plant and Vietnam Memorial Wall.
