Watching a whale closely is a great experience and today this is possible along the coasts of Massachusetts from the beginning of May to the end of October. At Cape Cod, the hunting season normally begins during the first half of April from the same docks where, up to a century ago, the whaling ships used to set off.Sometimes, you can watch them right from the coast, but if you don't, you can use the several boats that head from Stellwagen Bank.
