West Okoboji Lake is a natural body of water which is spread 3,847 acres of area in Dickinson County. This natural lake is situated in North West Iowa in the United States. It is often known as one of the three blue water lakes in the world. This lake is a part of the chain of lakes which are known as the Iowa Great Lakes. The average depth of this lake is 39 feet and its maximum depth is 136 feet. Geologically, this lake is a glacial pothole similar to its neighboring lakes and is a relic of the recent ice age 13,000 years ago.
