Battery Park is ideal for a day out, a quiet picnic in an extended park, not frequented by tourists. The park, with it's 10 acres of land and is located at the southern tip of Manhattan Island, near the port from which ships sail and ferries to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. For cultural activities, however, you can visit the Clinton Castle and Hope Garden, a memorial to AIDS victims.

Battery Park is also known as the Battery and is situated in New York. This 25 acre public park is situated at the southern tip of Manhattan Island facing the New York Harbor. This park because of its prime ... Vedi tutto location has played a significant role in the transportation infrastructure construction. This 25 acre park has 75,000 square feet of native plants, gardens and a special grove of 140 plane trees which are known as the Bosque. The Castle Clinton stands amidst the park, and it is the major landmark of Battery. Statue Cruises leave from Battery Park too.
