Although there are no areas designated specifically for swimming, the park has countless other fun activities to offer for the kids, like boating, canoeing, fishing, and camping. In fact, the park has 100 campsites suitable for novice to seasoned campers, with amenities like picnic tables, grills, electricity and water. The park is also home to a museum that displays artwork, wildlife displays, Native American artifacts, and exhibits about Florida history. For a little bit of modern comfort amidst the purity of nature, a park store and restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, snacks and easy access to camping supplies.
