The Chattahoochee Nature Center is an environmental park spread across 127 acres land. It is a nature preservation and educational center. This park facility is a home to native animals and also it features beautiful picnic areas along the stretch of the Chattahoochee River. You can also get to see the American bald eagle and birds of prey. There are also hiking and biking trails and the visitors should definitely enjoy the new Gold level LEED-certified Discovery Center Museum. Summer camps and canoeing trips are also arranged in the nature center. Also it is a home to some raptors like the Great Horned Owls, Barred Owls, Red-tailed hawks, Cooper’s hawk, red-shouldered hawks, black and turkey vultures. This place is really enjoyable for the children where they can enjoy the wildlife. It is also a great place to see the flora and fauna. This is one of the best wildlife parks in Georgia and a great place for outdoor fun.
