The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is relentless in its commitment to the development of aspiring talent and the revitalization of Fort Lauderdale's historical and cultural district.
For 20 years, the center has played host to arts of all kinds, ranging from operas and ballets to lectures and community festivals. Its 700 annual events attract more than 700,000 annual visitors, and the center is starting an expansion next spring.
The BCPA's performance venues, the Au-Rene and Amaturo theaters and Abdo New River Room have hosted such perfomances as "Wicked," The Second City Revue and Symphony of the Americas.
