Plaza Bolivar is known as one of the most significant public spaces and well recognized squares in Caracas, Venezuela. Situated in the historic center of the city, it was created by Santiago Leon de Caracas in 1567.

The square is amidst many vital historic buildings like the Cathedral of Caracas, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Museo Sacro, the Yellow House, the Municipal House and many others.

The square has a statue of Simon Bolivar and offers a shady area to rest and relax.
