Lake Chivero is a basin on the Manyame River which is in town of Harare positioned at north Zimbabwe which was initially called Lake McIlwaine. That was in recollection of Sir Robert Mcllwaine and now the lake plays a very importance role in the supply of drinking water to the city people; as well the water is used for commercial fishing and irrigation purposes, and it's very famous for its various types of fishes like Tiger fish, Clarius Garicpnus, Yellow fish, Black bream. The lake is really beautiful with abundance of fish, there are many species of birds and plenty of plant life and there is also a game park here with a wide variety of animals such as Giraffe, eland and Kudu. Kids will have a great time here; it is a great picnic spot. There is also a recreational park here and this place can be the fantastic outing for the family.
