Info about Ainslie

Overview

Ainslie can be described as one of the leafy suburbs in Canberra’s Inner North, Australia. It’s bordered by Majura Ave and Limestone Ave on the western side, Mount Ainslie on the eastern side, Hackett on the northern side, and Quick Street on the southern side.

The name ‘Ainslie’ has been derived from ‘James Ainslie’, who was the 1dt overseer of ‘Duntroon Station’ (in Canberra). This place is within Canberra CBD’s walking distance, along with ‘Australian War Memorial’, and Dickson’s other restaurants.

The mixture of its central location, full-grown street trees, and an abundance of heritage-listed houses goes on to make it one of the locations most desirable; as far as Canberra is concerned. Ainslie has gentrified over the period of time; thanks to it being originally a ‘blue-collared region’.

Maximum temperature on an average is around 37.7 degree Celsius, whereas minimum temperature on an average is around 7.9 degree Celsius.
