The Acadian Museum was constructed in 1886 and is located towards the south east in New Brunswick. It is one of the oldest Acadian museums in the world. The museum is located in the clement Cormier Pavilion in the University campus of Moncton. It was founded by Father Camille Lefebvre. The Acadian museum is home to the Art Gallery Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen.
First, when walking in I did not expect it to be so large. I am so proud the geneologist, Stephen While; head of the Acadian Museum was there. He is so helpful with any information or copies you might... more want to make. It was a wonderful trip. If I had known I would have planned more than 1 day! Gwen Phillips
