The National Center for the Performing Arts is an opera house situated in Beijing.  This is an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass totally surrounded by an artificial lake. It has can seat 5,452 people in three halls and is 12,000 square meters in size.

Designed by Paul Andreu, the French architect, its construction began in 2001 and was completed by 2007.

The three halls include the Opera Hall, the Music Hall and the Theater Hall.

 This is a must see for it architectural splendor.
