Overall Guide : Santo Domingo is a lively and excitng place where to go to, so many the things to be done and seen are! Don’t miss when there the Zona Colonial reminiscent of the spanish domain and presence there! In the area deserve a... more visit the so called Calle de las Damas, on of the historical streets and Puerto Plata City where extraordinary impressive beaches are and much more is to be enjoyed! Here not only the beaches are attractive, but culture and past traditions can still be enjoyed thanks to its antique streets, cathedral and many other interesting sights: Calle de Las Damas, the National Pantheon, The Cathedral of Santa Maria de Menor and the Capilla de los Re medios. The National Theatre is in Plaza de la Cultura and the Parque Independencia is a place where to get some relax together with the locals!

Overall Guide : If you like to combine nightlife with the sea and perfect white sandy beaches, this is the place for you. It was an unforgettable vacation. Avoid the summer, the climate is humid. February and March are the best time for... more this place. Don't miss the warmth of the Caribbean people, they're poor, yes, but always cheerful and welcoming.
