Overall Guide : San Salvador is a large spread out city and one generally requires a vehicle to get around, the city boast several malls, in the westen sector, while east of Metrocentro and in the north are poorer areas such as Zacamil,... more Mejicanos, apopa and soyapango, some colonias in these area can be dangerous by day or night if walking or busing through, so dress down and dress like a native.
