Those who prefer a more tranquil atmosphere can make the easy journey to the nearby Boulevard du Midi where there are nine beaches, called Plage du Midi. The private beaches all belong to the renowned hotels situated on the beachfront, including the Martinez, the Noga, the Carlton, the Majestic and the Gray d'Albion.
The Plage du Midi is one of the best equipped in the area, it has plenty of toilets and public showers, adequate parking and beach volleyball courts. The average price for renting a beach umbrella is about €20, that’s at least fifty percent less than what is costs on a Croisette beach.
