The Louvre Museum is the one of the most famous museums in the world. This is the largest art museum across the globe. The museum is located at 75058, Paris.The museum serves as the national symbol of France. Louvre museum ... Vedi tutto holds nearly 35, 000 pieces of artwork from different parts of the world. This gigantic museum is spread across an area of 60,000 sq. m. Millions of tourists visit this museum every year. The museum was established in 1793. The museum is a fortress built in 1190 CE. The Louvre Pyramid and the inverted pyramid are other attractions in this museum. This is the place where tourists can see original world famous creations of Mona Lisa, Oath of the Horatii, Madonna of the Rocks and Venus de Milo. The museum is divided into several departments. Visitors can see decorative art, Egyptian antiques, Islamic art, prints, sculptures and various world famous paintings. This museum remains open from 9 am to 6 pm daily, except Tuesday.
