Overall Guide : Paris is the Louvre, the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Sacré Coeur in Montmartre, Pigalle, the Latin area, St. Germain, Boulevard St. Michel, where french history, culture and traditions are and still live! Not far from such an... more extraordinary city Fontainebleau, Versailles and its magnificent palace of Louis XIV, Vaux-le-Vicomte well deserve a visit which can be enjoyed in just one day time! Many interesting places where to go and visit are alla round this dreaming city. The palaces of Versailles and, not far, Fontainebleau are true attractions of any trip to France. Disneyland Paris is an attraction too, but of a different nature! Worth a visit are also: Rueil-Malmaison, Bussy, Athis-Mons and Athis-Mons. Food is on of the main attractions in the whole France. Restaurants are nearly everywhere and they range from the highly luxurious to the simple cheap ones in the Quartier Latin. There are also many fast foods, take-away restaurants and Mac Donald’s.

Overall Guide : Paris is the most visited city in the world. It is vibrant. There so much to see and to shop. The Moulin Rouge was an experience and the art was amazing. The shopping experience is unique in Paris. There is... more such a variety. The cab drivers are very helpful. The coffee shops on the streets are so many and it is an experience to sit and eat and stare at the people walking by. You do not have to chat with those sitting with you. They are just as fascinated to watch all the peolple walking by. One day we bought a french loaf of bread and cheese and sat on the pavement with a small bottle of wine. It was so enjoyabale. It is a city that all travellers should experience.
Not to be missed Eiffel Tower , Moulin Rouge , Montmartre

You can do this leisurely on foot or use ground transport of your choice - the... more river cruises are also a great way to get around (weather permitting). The pride and passion with with food is prepared is amazing and adds to the richness of a traveler's experience in Paris. Try checking into an Parisian apartment for a different experience.

Overall Guide : Paris is the capital and largest city in France, situated on the river Seine, in northern France. Today it is one of the world’s leading business and cultural centers, and its infl uences in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science... more and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world’s major global cities. Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is “La Ville-Lumière” (“The City of Light”), a name it owes first to its fame as a centre of education and ideas during the Age of Enlightenment, and later to its early adoption of street lighting.

Overall Guide : Paris is the best! Can be expensive, but also a good deal with planning. Great food, museums, art, monuments, ambiance, walking experience. Art museums include the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay in a converted train station, Pompidou, Cluny, and Asian. Underground sights... more include sewer and catacombs. Great views from Eiffel tower, Sacre-Coeur, Pompidou. Best time is early spring when there are fewer tourists.
