Quartier Latin or the Latin Quarter of Paris is a major tourist attraction in Paris. This area is located on the bank of the Seine River. Sorbonne University lies adjacent to this area. A large number of bistros and a... more lively atmosphere is the key feature here. Visitors come here to savor lip smacking delicacies at the fast food joints. This market area has a countless number of clothing shops. Visitors can get a wide range of stylish clothes at great prices if one bargains. This open air market also has a historical significance. Tourists can visit numerous historical monuments located in this area. Place Saint- Michel and Le College de France are some of the must visit places in this area. The Latin Quarter also offers a sizzling and upbeat nightlife. Tourists can visit numerous nightclubs, pubs and discos here. The restaurants here serve local delicacies. Apart from shopping, nightlife and great food, this place offers astonishing architectural marvels. Altogether it is a great place to visit.
