Many consider Thingstatte historic building as a must see in their visits list. The site is a harsh reminder of National Socialist period which was erected in 1934-35 by the labor service of Reich. At this site, almost 20,000 people used to gather in 56 rows of oval audience and this ascends to a height of 25 meters. Until 1939, the Nazi solstice festivities used to take place. However, after the war this area fell into decay.
