This museum houses the collection of the diocese of Cologne and incorporates the remains of the late Gothic church of Saint Columba which was destroyed during the war.
There is an exhibition that includes paintings, prints and sculptures from late antiquity to the present. Alongside distinctly iconographic works in the traditional sense, such as the Madonna with the violet by Stephan Lochner, you will find the kinetic sculptures of Rebecca Horn and Bauhaus works by Andor Weininger, just to name a few. Not to be missed.
