Situated at a latitude of 32.92S and longitude of 139.83E the city of Kalyan lies in the north-east region of Mumbai in the Thane district of Maharashtra with a large number of population. With a relative humidity of 52%25 and dew-point of 0.2 degree Celsius the city of Kalyan mostly experiences a hot and sunny climate throughout the year. The township has a total area of 50 sq. miles, all of which is covered by land. According to a recent population census the crowd staying in the city of Kalyan is about 1500,000 and has 75%25 literacy rate. Most of the population of this city belongs to the age group of 19-35, and are either working or studying, thus it’s a well developed area and contains many schools and colleges along with an industrial area. It’s basically an industrial trade centre where business of all modes, shapes and sizes are carried out.

Overall Guide : Kalyan is a wonderful city.People in kalyan's are very hardworking and honest. Muslim's, Hindu's and other religon people happily. They are sharing, caring and affectionate with each other. The Beautiful places to see is KAALU KHADI, KALA TALAO, EID GAH, KALA ... Overall Guide : Kalyan city is still good for middle class. Rail connectivity is good but not to write abt bus service whether it is city or S T,Roads are dugged. Lacking proper Auto stand in Rly stn which is very prominent area ... Leggi tutto no proper Auto Stand in City, no traffic signal, Agra Raod is heavily loaded with the heavy trucks, until & unless bypass is not ready the travelling very difficult.

Overall Guide : Kalyan is a beautiful place to visit. Every one is helpful there & very co operative. Places to be seen are kala talao, durgadi killa, ganesh ghat. Overall Guide : Kalyan's transportation system is very worst. Even after traffic singal they are not operational. KDMC's city bus operation is also very poor. There is no control on auto riksha.
