Overall Guide : Ukkunagaram is the name of the Visakhapatnam steel plant. This steel plant more than an occupational place has turned into a tourist destination due to the beauty and design of the township. The roads are a marvelous specimen of the... more well planning.  This road also leads to a shortcut which almost cuts 20 miles on the way to Vijaywada. More and more number of tourist visit this place every year. The Simhachalan temple is chiefly devoted to Lord Vishnu commonly known as “Narasimha” meaning the lion. The temple is situated on a hilltop. It is one of the places where every tourist who enters Visakhapatnam makes a point to visit. The famous hill station called the Araku valley hosts majority of the tourists in Visakhapatnam. It is famous for its Araku valley cultural dance. One of the best sizzling foot items are prepared in the hotels residing in the Araku valley and people from far off places also make it point to taste the splendid food.

You can enjoy a trip to hill top Kailasagiri Park with cable car, Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple,... more Mudasarlova Reservoir, Thotlakonda, Endada Beach. The city can be reached by air/rail/road connected by NH5. There are budget & star hotels with tarrif ranging from Rs.600 to Rs.5000 per day. Food is traditional & spicy in majority of hotels. There are several important places like Bora Caves, Rk beach, Lord Satyanarayana Temple, Vuda Park and other famous things located in... more around the city. Common public will generally gathered at rk beach to see the sea. As far as public is concerned, they are innocent and effectionate besides having helping nature.

Overall Guide : I have visited so many temples in India and abroad. But I have not seen such a sculpture of Varaha Narasimha Swamy (Lord Simhadri Appanna) temple situated at Simhachalam. The surroundings of this temple is fully covered with a deep... more forest. Ratnagiri temple (Annavaram) is very nearer to Simhachalam. "RATNA" first part of Ratnagiri and "CHAL" second part of Simhachalam together joined as "RATNACHAL" and named for an Express Train which covers both Ratnagiri and Simhachalam
