Ancient Venice in Venice ★★  

The B&B is in downtown Venice, in “Calle delle Botteghe”: in front of “Campo San Barnaba” – where you can admire the magnificent frontage of the Church – and just around the corner from Campo Santa Margherita, in Sestiere of Dorsoduro, in the historical centre. The newly restored rooms are elegant and welcoming, with a luxurious mosaic marble floor (“terrazzo veneziano”), dated 1826 and offering an enchanting panoramic view (Church of San Barnaba, Rio S.Barnaba, San Marco’s Belfry). On the first floor there’s a nice Tea Room where you can have breakfast and relax. Just around the corner you’ll find the most characteristic restaurants in Venice (to be clear, not the overpriced touristic ones, but the genuine, honest Venice’s ones) and the best “bacari” (these are traditional restaurants where you can drink good Veneto’s wine and eat the typical “spunci”). B&B Ancient Venice is just a short walk from San Marco Square, Rialto Bridge and Accademia. The B&B is very close to the “Ca’ Rezzonico” stop, where you can catch the main Venice's Vaporetto Line 1.
