How to move : It's very easy to get there by train, the area of Santa Maria Novella is full of small hotels which you can reach by foot and it's very close to the city centre (10 minutes' walk). Several buses depart from... more the station to get to the more distant attractions, such as the unmissable Piazzale Michelangelo Buonarroti from which you can admire all of Florence and s. Miniato

How to move : It's easy to visit as the main attractions are concentrated in the centre. You can easily get around on foot, of course, keep in mind that you'll be walking a lot. For this reason it is best to go when... more the weather is mild, not least because you can eat a lot. The souvenirs are not a problem, you find some on every corner.

How to move : Florence is great to walk around because it's quite samll. You can get to the centre from the station in very little time, and, continuing on foot, you can go to the Boboli Gardens, Piazzale Michelangelo and to many other... more places, be it to visit monuments, or to go shopping.
