Symbol of Catholicism, is the largest church in the world: the nave is 187 meters long and the dome reaches 136 m. in height. The first building was built in the fourth century. Emperor Constantine built this place where St. Peter was buried, martyred at the time of Nero. The construction of the basilica began in 1506 under Pope Julius II.

Vatican, St Peter's Basilica is the most covered church, a must see. Feel the grandeur of the square in the front, paintings, sculptures by famous artists of Italy like Michelangelo etc, wonderful marble works from floor to ceiling, domes. The ... Vedi tutto famous Pita, only signatured sculpture of Michelangelo. There are many arts in the museum and the Sistine Chapel, known for the famous paintings of Michelangelo and others.
