Tempo Malastestiano is a cathedral church located in Rimini, Italy. It is named for St. Francis, and takes the popular name from Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta.
Tempio Malatestiano was designed by Leon Battista Alberti and was the ancient church at the very beginning of the Renaissance. The interior is decorated with frescoes by Piero della Francesca which depicts Sigismondo Malatesta kneeling before St Sigismondo.
The church is recognizable from its wide marble façade and decorated by sculptures which are made by Agostino di Duccio and Matteo de’ Pasti.
