Description

This place owes its fame to the tragic death of the philosopher Giordano Bruno, burned alive. In the morning it takes a more characteristic of the local markets of the city. In the evening, however, becomes the meeting place of choice for young and old, until dawn.

Campo de' Fiori is a large local feeding square in the heart of Rome. It is a rectangular piazza near the Piazza Navona in Rome and is meant the ‘field of flowers’. This square is ringed by bars and cafes... more and is home to a variety of flower and veggies market in the mornings and the happening place for nightlife in the evenings. During the night, this square is a popular meeting place for the young people both foreign and Italian.

The Campo dei fiori Market is known to be an open air market in Rome. This is a market which is also a vast square and there are abundant of produces that are sold daily. Campo dei fiori means “field... more of flowers” and this is named as it lies over the site of what was once known as an ancient meadow. One can purchase the best vegetables, flowers and such produces here along with fresh cut flowers.
