The Islamic Arts Museum is situated in Kuala Lumpur and was officially open to public in 1998. This museum houses over 7,000 artifacts and has an amazing library of Islamic art books. There are also art objects on display right from tiny pieces of jewelry to largest scale models of the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca displays. This is a modern style museum building which is worth visit for any tourist.

The visitors, who want to learn some interesting facts about Islamic religion, must visit the Islamic Arts Museum. This is the sole museum in Malaysia, which is dedicated to only Islamic art. The museum features mesmerizing 5 domes. Four of ... Vedi tutto the five domes can be viewed from outside the museum. However, the fifth dome can only be seen from within the building. This is the only museum that holds more than 7, 000 artifacts representing the artistic side of the Islamic religion. The artifacts include a variety of ceramics, metalwork and fabric work.The museum also houses a library, museum shop, auditorium and restaurant. The library holds an exotic collection of books on Islamic arts, children's stories and other information. The museum holds various permanent galleries dedicated to various fields. These fields include Islamic architecture, Quran and Manuscript, jewelry, textiles, arms and coins. The museum features 2 temporary galleries as well. These galleries host various exhibitions throughout the year.
