One of the world's tallest buildings, with a height of 1,453 feet the Petronas Towers rises above the skyline of Kuala Lumpur. The twin towers have become an epitome of the astonishing growth that has taken place in Malaysia over... more the last two decades. Another major landmark in the city is the Sultan Abdul Sama Building that was built in 1848 by British architects. The building is topped by a copper dome and a 40-metre high clock tower which happens to be a well-known gathering-point for New Year celebrations. The Kuala Lumpur City Center Park is a place that often attracts people who are looking for a peaceful garden retreat in the middle of a bustling city. The 20 hectare park has a jogging park, fountain pool, sculptures, lake and a children’s playground. Not to be missed are the amazing fireworks display held on New Year’s Eve.
